Not always hotels: a group purchasing system for DogsFresh

For 25 years Planet Polaris has worked mainly for MICE and hospitality, but we gladly apply the same expertise to other sectors.

For DogsFresh, a Belgian family business specialised in fresh BARF food and raw ingredients for dogs, cats and other carnivores, we are building an on-demand system for group purchases. It comes on top of the webshop we developed for them earlier.

Simple on the outside, complex underneath

Deliveries in several countries, each with its own payment systems and legislation. A tightly managed cold chain. And on top of that, a clear and ambitious vision from the DogsFresh management, who know exactly where they want to go.

• Customers in the same region can bundle their orders into one group purchase. That lowers delivery costs and keeps the cold chain efficient.
• A custom admin panel built specifically for DogsFresh, where the team manages group purchases, participants, delivery zones and payments, without detours through separate tools.
• Everything is integrated seamlessly into the existing webshop, so both the client and their customers work in one familiar environment.
